Falcon C Concentrators are used in gravity recovery applications that need higher mass yields compared to SB Concentrators. The applications include primary concentrations of tin, tantalum, tungsten, chrome, cobalt, iron, fine oxidized coal, and uranium. They are effective in scavenging fine particles lost by flotation and other low G force processes, such as shaking tables and spirals. Additionally, they are employed for the pre-concentration of heavy minerals.
Sepro Laboratories can conduct bench-scale tests to assess a sample’s amenability for Falcon C application by generating a mass vs. recovery curve. A pilot test using a C400 can then confirm the machine’s effectiveness and identify specific operating limitations. Reliable test work, provided by Sepro’s laboratory facilities, ensures the right concentrator is selected for specific applications.
