Efficient recovery of different minerals requires a variety of mineral processing and hydrometallurgical techniques.
We have experience working with a number of metals and minerals, including sulphide, industrial and strategic minerals, as well as precious and secondary metals.
A high grade gold mine was observing large discrepancies between production samples from drill cuttings and the original block model. Further, there was large variation among grab samples from the same areas. The mine needed to know the true grades in order to define ore and waste as well as reconcile the block model data. Sepro was retained to solve this problem.
View Case StudyThis project was sponsored by Namaska Lithium which owns the Whabouchi property in northwestern Quebec, Canada. Wahbouchi is a spodumene-based lithium deposit. Lithium is currently a critical element in the production of batteries for a variety of electronics, electric cars and other forms of energy storage.
View Case StudyWith the ever increasing use of electronic devices around the world such as computers, mobile phones and automation components there is an ever increasing amount of electronic waste that is generated. Sepro has worked closely with electronic waste recyclers to develop innovative processes to recover gold and other metals, to produce metal concentrates which can be sold directly to refiners at a profit and to generate an environmentally clean waste stream that is free of toxic chemicals.
